Yesterday we had our last day in Buenos Aires which we spent in the colorful quarter of Boca. Boca is where the Tango was invented and is now quite a touristic area with colorful and cute houses. Around lunchtime we accidentally ran into a fully loaded grill in front of a green Oasis and decided to have a classic Argentinian barbecue that probably could have fed a whole family…<\/p>\n

On another note: Something seems wrong with the climate; it is mid-February and 35\u00b0C outside, weird… Luckily, were heading south\u00ae tomorrow where it will be much nicer (because south is the new north)!<\/p>\n

Talking about travelling: While enjoying our lunch we realized that for our flight to Patagonia leaving four hours later we only had ticket reservations but no real tickets… grand. After some complications, scrambling in Spanish on the phone, and rushing our taxi rivers to the airport through the sluggish traffic, we finally managed to buy the tickets at the airport and “smoothly” got on the flight to Trelew. There we picked up our rental car and drove through the deserted pampa to the cozy farm house Casona del Rio<\/i> where we’ll spend the next two nights.<\/p>\n

\nGestern hatten wir unseren letzten Tag in Buenos Aires, den wir im bunten Viertel von Boca verbrachten. In Boca wurde der Tango erfunden und ist heute ein recht touristisches Gebiet mit bunten und niedlichen H\u00e4usern. Gegen Mittag stie\u00dfen wir zuf\u00e4llig auf einen voll beladenen Grill vor einer gr\u00fcnen Oase und beschlossen, einen klassischen argentinischen Grill zu veranstalten, der wahrscheinlich eine ganze Familie h\u00e4tte ern\u00e4hren k\u00f6nnen….<\/span><\/p>\n

Auf einer anderen Seite: Etwas scheint mit dem Klima nicht in Ordnung zu sein; es ist Mitte Februar und 35\u00b0C drau\u00dfen, seltsam…. Gl\u00fccklicherweise sind wir morgen auf dem Weg nach south\u00ae, wo es viel sch\u00f6ner sein wird (denn S\u00fcden ist der neue Norden)!<\/p>\n

Apropos Reisen: W\u00e4hrend wir unser Mittagessen genossen, stellten wir fest, dass wir f\u00fcr unseren Flug nach Patagonien vier Stunden sp\u00e4ter nur Ticketreservierungen, aber keine echten Tickets hatten…. Grand. Nach einigen Komplikationen, dem Telefonieren auf Spanisch und dem Eilen unserer Taxifl\u00fcsse zum Flughafen durch den schleppenden Verkehr, gelang es uns endlich, die Tickets am Flughafen zu kaufen und den Flug nach Trelew “reibungslos” zu nehmen. Dort holten wir unseren Mietwagen ab und fuhren durch die verlassene Pampa zum gem\u00fctlichen Bauernhof Casona del Rio, wo wir die n\u00e4chsten zwei N\u00e4chte verbringen werden.<\/p>\n
